Mr. Willard L. Guill, 79, of Marion, KY, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Baptist Deaconess Health Madisonville.
Willard was a retired heavy equipment mechanic after many years, working for both John Deere and Pyro Mines. He was a Crittenden County magistrate for four years and a member of Shepards Chapel Church. He sold fruits and vegetables for many years, while enjoying conversations and making new friends. He especially loved his daughter, Melissa, and doing things with her, especially traveling. They made many wonderful memories together.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Guill of Marion; sisters, Linda (Gary) Hardesty of Marion, and Georgie Mae Ross of Harrisburg, IL; brothers, Paul Guill of Paducah and Ronnie (Ann) Guill of Carrsville; furry and feathered friends, Tiger, Gracie, Sweet Pea, Baby Cat, Snowball, Simba, Puddin, and Miss Chickedee.
Willard was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy (Sisco) Guill, brothers, Roy Douglas Guill and Gary “PeeWee” Guill; and his parents, Roy and Mary Lou (Hosick) Guill.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro. Gary Hardesty officiating.
Burial will follow in White’s Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 5 to 8 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Director and Cremation Services.
